Dealing With A Break-up.

As much as breakups suck, everyone goes through them & end up being ok. You might not think you're going to make it & can't live without the boy but you can, I promise you. I'll tell you how to get started. :)

First things first,

1.) DELETE him from your phone..
(contact, messages, pictures), & all social media.
What's worse then reading old messages & getting sad thinking of what could have been?
Or seeing his new life with maybe, a new girlfriend?
I hate to say it but..Keeping him on your phone won't make anything easier!! :(

2.) STAY BUSY!! Staying home in your room watching Netflix with your puppy will make you depressed & you'll get so comfortable doing it that you won't ever want to leave the house.. which isn't a good thing. Instead of isolating yourself, surround yourself with family & friends. If you ever find yourself alone & everyone is busy then you can...

3.) ..TREAT YOURSELF! Get a massage, take a bubble bath, get ice cream, travel!

4.) FOCUS ON YOU. Guess what? Now that you don't have a boyfriend, you have a ton more time on your hands! Start working out, eat healthy.. It'll make you feel so good & your body will start looking better, too! (it'll show him what he lost) ;) Do your homework so you can rock your class with an A! Declutter your room, clean out unnecessary belongings. Like the roses he gave you for Valentines? Chuck 'em! Jewelry, sell it! Clothes he bought you? Donate it! This will get rid of old, negative energy. It feels so good afterwards.

5.) CRY. You can't be strong & hold your tears in forever. Crying is part of getting over him. Listen to songs that can make you shed a tear or two & cry until you don't have any more tears left. It's OK to cry, don't ever forget that.

My favorite:

6.) GOD'S PLAN. Everything happens for a reason.. Your relationship didn't work out for a reason, God's reason. The reason might not be known at this moment but in the future, you'll find out why I didn't work out with him. Heck, that's even if you remember it/him because you will have moved onto bigger & better things.

Right now, you probably want to bad mouth him to the people who asked "what happened between you two?" But don't. Be the bigger person & tell whoever asks that it just didn't work out. As much as you want to say wrong things about him, you just look silly!!

Only time will heal your heart, along with this list of things. I hope you got a little inspiration out of this. Don't ever feel like you're not good enough because you're MORE then good enough..just a little too good for him. ;) :)

Also, don't ever lay your happiness in someone else's hands && you won't ever need somebody who doesn't need you.

CHEERS TO YOUR BRIGHT FUTURE! ❤︎❤︎❤︎

Study-Break Time.

You deserve a break from studying all day. That's what I'm doing right now. I've been sitting at the kitchen table doing for three hours. It's Sunday & I accomplished a lot, it was productive. I think I am going to start making Sundays my "do nothing but study day".

Here are some ideas you can do while taking a break:

Drink water! It's seriously so refreshing.
Eat a snack! A quick little snack never hurt anyone.
Catch up on the daily Instagram scroll.
Listen to  this playlist. I've been listening to it this whole time, it's "Fallish", too!
PINTEREST. You can find some inspiration on there & look at cute outfits for the next day. :)

I hope those are some ideas for you.  Don't give up as hard as school can get, it will be SOO worth it!!! Feel free to share what you do while taking a break! :)

How To Be Organized Using Planner, Calendar, & App on iPhone | Life, school, etc.

So.. I'm a sophomore in college and I'm taking 3 science classes & 1 math class (on top of work, friends, & family) The worst part about it is knowing how to balance them out. It gets tough but as long as I stay organized, I get everything I need to get done.. Even if that means staying up until 3 in the morning & having to wake up at 7.

Overview: color coordinate each class and write anywhere you can so you'll never forget about an assignment.

My new study room. I just moved everything in here, I have yet to decorate it. :)

You'll want highlighters and pens to write in your planner and on your desk calendar. These will be used to color coordinate each class.

Gather your syllabus' for each class of yours and find the page where the assignments are with their due dates. You will use this to put everything in your planner and calendar.

DESK CALENDAR:

For example: say math is blue (I use blue because my math book is blue), I'm going to write on the day it's due with a blue pen and highlight it with blue highlighter.
MATH: CH. 4 HOMEWORK
              DISCUSSION FORUM

Another example, I used pink for chemistry because pink is my favorite color and I dislike chemistry so I was hoping the pink would gradually make me like chemistry. It's kind of workin'!
CHEM: LEARN SMART
             HW PROBLEMS
             CONCEPT QUIZ

So for Biology, I used green just because when I think of Biology, I think of the earth.
As for Anatomy, my binder is purple for my notes in that class.

If I have something going on & it doesn't pertain to school, I put it in with whatever color I'm feeling that I didn't already use so I usually highlight it with orange or yellow.

Here's a closer look on a busy day:
(excuse my handwriting)

PLANNER:

It's pretty much the same thing, you're just reiterating everything in another spot.

PHONE:

This is the "Reminders" app that is on every iPhone by default. I never thought in my life, I would ever put this to actual use. I love that I can color coordinate with this perfectly! So basically with this, I do assignments week by week. Only because I don't want to get overwhelmed and end up working on something that's not a priority. Once I finish the assignment or whatever it might be, I check the bubble so it goes away. It feels so good to be able to do that, too!

I'm a sucker for positivity so of course, I had to make a list for it. I put quotes and motivating things in the list and I look back at it when I am feeling helpless or unmotivated. It seems to help!!

I hope this helps someone! This is just what works for me!

[SIDE NOTE]
Anytime you hear your teacher say there's a new assignment or reminds your class about a quiz or something, whip your planner out and write it down. Usually what happens is I say I'll do it later and I forget about it. Don't let that happen to you, if you can't write it down.. Put it in your phone! It's also helpful to put your own checkmark boxes next to each assignment and check it off when you're done! :) Note pads are good to have around, write anything down that is important to keep it implanted in your head. I keep two notepads around, I have Post-its & then an actual notepad that I can write lists down on.
